REGISTRATION FEES

REGISTRATION FEE INCREASES

The registration, match fees and referees fees for the 2026 season were released recently by the SSFA and were reviewed at our (KKFC’s) December 2026 General Meeting to help with setting the players registration fees for the 2026 season. The cost per player based on the governing bodies fee increases only, is between $15 and $43 per player depending on the age group. The registration increases have come from each of the governing bodies associated with the game, including Football Australia, FNSW and SSFA. There have also been increases in the weekly match fees that are paid for each game played by each team and the cost of referees and referees assistants for each game.

The above increase in costs do not include any increases in costs that the club incurs as a result of normal operations including, synthetic field hire, electricity insurances, clubhouse rent, cleaning and maintenance costs, senior and junior presentations, bank charges etc.

In 2025, the club increased registration fee’s between $0 and $10, this was to accommodate increases in governing body fee’s from the 2024 season and other general increases in club running costs. This saw the club finish in the red for the 2025 season as costs generally increased beyond the recovery we receive as part of registration fees, canteen and bar operation. To help improve the financial position of the club, a concerted effort has been made to gain new sponsors for the 2026 season and beyond. To date this campaign has been very successful and will help secure the financial position of the club.

However, the club will still need support from our players, coaches, managers and spectators to ensure that we can build on this positive financial start for the 2026 season. This support includes continued use of the club facilities including the canteen and the bar on game days. As well as obtaining further sponsors for either the club or teams, we have attached the current sponsorship pack for your reference, please feel free to share with your players, parents, business partners etc.

When determining the clubs registration fees for 2026, the Club has carefully considered the impact of the governing body fees on our community. The club has also considered the ongoing increases in the running costs to keep the club operational on a week to week basis outside of the governing body fees. The club in setting the 2026 registration fee’s will also rely on greater sponsorship income and an increase in the usage of the clubs facilities on a Saturday and Sunday.

Given the above, the club will be increasing registration fee’s by between $15 and $30 per player depending on the age group. Whilst we understand that this is not ideal for our playing community, the club has kept registration fees to a minimum and below that actual additional costs that the club will incur for the 2026 season. If you or any of your players have any queries please do not hesitate in reaching out to the clubs executive committee.
